When J. Golden Kimball visited Layton; first mention of Layton's original bank

J. Golden Kimball was perhaps the most outrageous of past leaders in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
His actions were always very colorful and his language included plenty of four-letter words. Elder Kimball was a member of the Seventy in the Church.
According to the Salt Lake Herald Republican of Nov. 1, 1910, Elder Kimball visited Layton, probably in late October of that year. He attended Church services in town and organized a new Quorum of the Seventy in Layton.

-MORE than five years earlier, the Herald Republican had mentioned Layton's first bank, in its Feb. 10, 1905 issue:
"A new national bank is soon to be established in Layton, Davis County. The organization has not yet been perfected."
The story stated that the bank's original capital stock will probably be worth about $25,000.
