Layton was the 37th area settled by the Mormon Pioneers




LAYTON was the 37th area settled by the Moron Pioneers in the 19th Century.
Kaysville, of which Layton is an outgrowth, was the 16th community settled in the original Territory of Deseret, in the spring of 1849.
